We are extremely proud and honoured that Heartbeat TV show actress Tricia Penrose endorses and supports our bar. Also, if you're lucky you may get to meet the British TV celebrity who regularly visits the bar. Appearing in over 300 Heartbeat TV episodes between 1993 and 2010, she quickly became one of the nations favourite actresses playing bubbly barmaid character Gina Ward. The 1960s period police drama was filmed in the fictional village of Aidensfield with the popular TV series capturing TV audiences around the world.
Along with her appearances on iconic British soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale, Tricia has also enjoyed a very successful professional singing career. Releasing two singles into the UK charts with "Where Did Our Love Go" produced by Simon Cowell & "Don't Wanna Be Alone". Tricia has also reached the Eurovision Song for Europe finals in 2004 and performed tracks by Lisa Stansfield and Brenda Lee on ITV show "Stars In Their Eyes".
Come along to the Heartbeat Bar, you may even see Tricia Penrose perform her songs live on stage! To show our appreciation we have named the bar 'Heartbeat' so we can help to preserve the 1960s iconic era in British popular music culture.
